The Challenge

Insurance is brutally competitive. Drawing web visitors is one thing; getting them to trust you enough to hand over their details and request a quote is the real battle King Price set out to win.

The Solution

King Price moved its Hellopeter reviews high on the quote landing page, each attributed to Hellopeter for third-party credibility, then kept building the reputation behind them.

The Challenge: Turning Web Visitors Into Quote Requests

King Price offers short-term insurance, best known for car premiums that decrease every month, the idea CEO Gideon Galloway built the business on: if a car loses value monthly, why insure it for the same premium all year? It's a proposition that draws thousands of web visitors a day.

But insurance is brutally competitive. Drawing visitors is one thing. Getting them to trust you enough to hand over their details and request a quote is another. King Price's question was simple: how do we get more people to fill in the form and request a quote?

The Solution: Put the Proof Where People Decide

King Price's original landing page did mention reviews, but they sat low on the page and weren't tied to any independent source, so they carried little weight. The team built an alternative page that moved real reviews from its King Price Insurance on Hellopeter profile high up, with "Hellopeter" shown under each one.

That small change did something important. It signalled that the reviews came from real customers, on an independent third-party platform, not marketing copy the brand wrote about itself. Buyers are cautious about handing over personal details. Authentic, attributed feedback from other customers is exactly what lowers that hesitation.

What began as a landing-page test became an operating habit. Today King Price treats its Hellopeter presence as a live relationship: it collects verified reviews at scale and replies to essentially all of them, more than 19,000 responses in the past year alone.

Implementation Timeline

  1. 1

Make your reviews impossible to miss

Move real customer reviews high on the page where buyers decide, not buried at the bottom. Visibility is the first lever.

  2. 2

Attribute them to a third party

Show "Hellopeter" under each review. Independent attribution signals the reviews are from real clients, not marketing copy, and that is what builds trust.

  3. 3

Test it against your best alternative

A/B test the review-led page against your strongest existing version. Let the lead-generation numbers settle the question.

  4. 4

    Collect and respond at scale

Keep gathering verified reviews and reply to all of them. A live, responded-to profile compounds credibility over time.

  5. 5

Use the AI analysis to fix the weak theme

Let the AI show you which service theme is dragging you down, in customers' own words, and act on it. That is what protects the score.

The Results

Then: A 14% Lift in Lead Generation

King Price had A/B tested its landing pages before, varying colour and layout. The version featuring attributed Hellopeter reviews beat them all, with a 14% increase in lead generation.

For an insurer receiving thousands of visitors a day, that's a substantial revenue gain and a lower cost per lead acquired.

Now: A Reputation the Whole Market Reads

Years of that discipline have compounded. Across more than 18,500 reviews in the past year, King Price holds a 4.8-star rating and a TrustIndex of 10 out of 10, the top of the scale, on a base of over 117,000 reviews. Hellopeter's AI analysis scores the business 4.2 out of 5 overall, rated "Great," and above the short-term insurance industry average.

The AI reads the content of the reviews, not just the stars, and scores five themes that decide a short-term insurance experience: frontline agent service 4.5, communication 4.3, roadside and repair 4.3, pricing 4.1, and claims handling 3.9.

The strongest is the human one. Customers routinely name the individual consultant who helped them. The softest is claims, the universal pressure point in insurance, and because the analysis names exactly where the friction sits, it's something King Price can act on rather than guess at.

Why It Compounds

The same review engine that lifted lead generation by 14% now does far more than convert a landing page. When a South African Googles "king price reviews," the answer comes from Hellopeter, and it's strong. The same is true when they ask ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.

The proof King Price first surfaced on one page is now read on every surface where customers research a brand, and the business didn't write a word of it. Its customers did.

The lead-generation win was the first dividend. The compounding reputation is the one that keeps paying, quietly turning every resolved complaint and every five-star review into the answer a prospect sees first.
